I was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska, and moved to Georgia in 2002. From a very young age, I knew I wanted to help people see how beautiful they are. I am passionate about hair and makeup and pursued this through my education at the Aveda Institute. I started working for one of the top salons in Atlanta in early August of 2006 and left in 2011. I've had some amazing opportunities to be trained by some of the top names in the salon industry including Nick Arrojo, Angus Mitchell, Roberts Cromeans, Martin Parsons and etc., and also had the honor of being an educator to some of the most talented up and coming stylists!
I began doing hair for weddings and photo shoots in 2001, and after 10 years, I still love it. I enjoy being a part of the excitement of such a momentous occasion in someone's life, such as a wedding; or getting to work with some of the top photographers on photo shoots! It is humbling to work with so many different people and personalities out there I have found there is always something to learn, and the energy is contagious.
I have had the opportunity to work in many different areas in this amazing industry; My regular clients, specializing their look with a new cut or color, Portraits and Weddings, to headshots and boudoir photo shoots. I also have experience working on movie sets, with celebrities, and styling for a magazine. I have also loved being an educator, in everything from teaching a small class, to a room full of women, to a school full of students. Through this exciting journey, I have had the opportunity to travel all over the southeast for on-site styling and makeup artistry. I enjoy all aspects of this industry, and couldn't imagine doing anything else.
